On Behalf Of Our Partner Clinics in Japan

Due to numerous requests for the establishment of a branch clinic, we are pleased to announce the opening of a new dental clinic in the Sunway district. It has been seven years since we opened the Sakura Dental Clinic on the second floor of Aoi Family Clinic in response to requests from Japanese residents. Despite the global challenge posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the world is once again connected. Recently, Malaysia has become very popular, attracting students from around the world. Therefore, we aim to contribute to the broader community, not just to Japanese residents.

In conjunction with this opening, we have added about 20 clinics in Japan that agree to continue treatment for returning patients, which we believe will provide more convenience for them. Our characteristic is not just superficial collaboration but actual human exchanges between Malaysian and Japanese doctors, staff, and even management, learning from each other and working together. In doing so, we take inspiration from Malaysia’s strengths, fostering mutual respect regardless of race, age, or gender.

As a fourth-generation dentist managing the clinic, I believe that it is essential not to think solely within Japan but to engage in interactions with various generations and countries. The human and intellectual resources gained from these exchanges will be feedbacked to our patients and staff.

Doing business overseas is extremely challenging. I am deeply grateful for the support of the local Malaysian staff, related Japanese companies, suppliers, and many others. I pray for the health and bright days of both countries and all of you.

Our Commitment

The starting point of prevention is having good dental alignment

It is apparent that if teeth are crowded, brushing becomes difficult, food gets stuck more easily, and the bite balance is poor. Traditionally, the focus has been on cavities and periodontal disease, but we believe that ‘proper dental alignment’ is the most important.

Moreover, orthodontic appliances have evolved from being ‘painful, noticeable, and difficult to clean’ to ‘pain-free, inconspicuous, and removable for cleaning’ with the advancement of clear aligners.

We center our practice around this remarkable treatment method, helping individuals maintain the ability to eat with their own teeth from a young age until the end of their lives.

The era of a 100-year lifespan

Even those who become bedridden say that ‘eating’ remains their greatest pleasure until the end. Additionally, when oral function declines, nutritional balance is disrupted, leading to various physical impairments.

Ensuring that individuals can ‘eat with their own mouths’ until the end is a goal shared by both the public and us the dentists. It is important to lead a healthy and active daily life.

Collaboration with external partners

Teamwork is the most important factor in ensuring safe and secure medical care. We will foster an open organizational culture by always being mindful of ‘Hō-Ren-Sō’ (reporting, communicating, and consulting).

Instead of handling everything on our own, we will collaborate with clinics, hospitals, and even governmental agencies to consider the best possible methods from the patient’s perspective.
